Vasa International Group

This group consists of two main businesses under the companies: Vasatech & Inovar Industries Group. This group manufactures from two adjacent facilities just outside of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Glenmarie started investing in the Vasa International Group in the 1990's and currently holds over 70% of Vasa's outstanding equity with its subsidiary Capital Properties Bhd.

As at the 31st of December 2017 Vasa International Group achieved annual gross revenue of ~RM218 million.

Vasatech

Vasatech is a manufacturer of Low Pressure Melamine (LPM) paper used in short cycle press laminations - a process popular with both the furniture industry, and wood-based laminate manufacturers. Vasatech began production of LPM in 2000.

It was sold in late-2018/early-2019 to Schattdecor.

Inovar

(previously Stalheim)

Inovar Industries Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) is a specialist manufacturer of superior water-resistant, quality laminate flooring. Led by a team of super-qualified professionals, with more than 20 years experience in the woodbased and related industries, Inovar can produce up to 5 million sqm of laminate flooring annually.

Regarded as the leading laminate flooring producer in the Asia Pacific, Inovar has manufacturing facilities located about 60 km northwest from Kuala Lumpur, and exports to many countries around the world.
